Gregory Hollow Tree was invited recently to participate in a children’s music songwriting club by Steve from Hullabaloo Band and the great kid’s music website Zooglobble.com

The idea was that a song title would be chosen by vote and then 5 songwriters would be tasked with writing a song using that title.   The title that was chosen was Green Beans Everywhere.

Gregory Hollow Tree took up the challenge and came up with a tale of Duck’s farm and his favorite snack.  He enlisted some other Hollow Trees to help with the recording and the song came out great.   Take a listen:

Thanks to everyone who joined us at our 7th annual appearance at the 7th Annual Silverlake independent Jewish Community Center’s Festival of Lights.
We had a great time with old friends and new!   There was a lot of latkes and great music all day by The SiJCC Shabbat Band, Lucky Diaz, us, The Living Sisters, The Silver Lake Chorus, Eugene Edwards Band, and Tru-Fight.
